In ports, marinas, and shoreline environments, MUSTY2009 provides precise control in sensitive and high-traffic areas. It can be applied directly to surface oil, pooled contamination, and residual slicks around pylons, rocks, ramps, and wharves.
MUSTY2009 binds oil without absorbing excess water, allowing responders to collect, squeeze, and reuse the product while removing oil efficiently and safely from both natural and built coastal environments.

MUSTY2009 is well suited to industrial environments such as workshops, factories, fuel handling areas, and maintenance facilities. It can be applied to machinery leaks, floor spills, bunded areas, and ongoing hydrocarbon contamination.
Because it is non-toxic and non-hazardous, MUSTY2009 provides a safer alternative for workers while significantly reducing clean-up time, waste volumes, and disposal costs.

For oil-impacted sand, soil, and industrial sediments, MUSTY2009 is used in agitation and stripping processes. When mixed with contaminated material in clean water, it selectively removes hydrocarbons from the sediment.
The oil binds to the MUSTY2009, allowing it to be separated and processed, while the cleaned sediments can be returned to site or further polished. This method supports remediation with minimal environmental disturbance.

MUSTY2009 can be applied directly to hard surfaces such as concrete, steel, tiles, marine structures, and industrial equipment. By rubbing the product onto the surface, oil is stripped away and captured into the sorbent.
This makes MUSTY2009 ideal for treating slip hazards, stained surfaces, and residual contamination without spreading oil or washing it into drains or waterways.
